Price Check: Totally boned scattergun

So awhile ago I unboxed a Totally Boned warpaint that happened to have a stat tracker on it. After scouring both backpack.tf, bazaar.tf, marketplace.tf and the community Marketplace, I realized I had the only one in existence. What would the price be? Should I sell it? And would anyone even be willing to purchase it?

I forgot to mention that I applied it to the Scouts normal scattergun, Which made it the only one in existence.

It's not the only one in existence; It's just not commonly traded, as most people want an unapplied paint, not a weapon.

Unapplied, the paint would've been about half a key. Now that you've used it, it's lost a good chunk of that value, so I'd guess around the 15-20 refined range, depending on if the pattern has anything noteworthy about it.

That’s the thing, it’s commonly cheaper to buy decorated weapons with the war paint already applied than apply it yourself, people tend to pay more for unapplied war paints

Don't know where it said only one exist, Totally Boned Warpaint is a mercenary warpaint, regardless if is strange or not, there should be hundreds in existence. Additionally, warpaints tend to have higher prices before you apply anything on them, I assume you got the warpaint and just applied it. For the future, unless you intend to keep the paint, don't apply it to any weapon.

As for the price, don't follow Steam Community market prices, as they sometimes overvalue or undervalue items, especially skins. What a majority of skin traders use is Marketplace.tf

https://marketplace.tf/items/tf2/200;11;w5;pk240

This is the link to scattergun with the same wear, it has a recent sale at 2$, I would have suggested to price the scattergun at that price, if it wasn't for this: https://marketplace.tf/items/tf2/17240;11;w5;pk240, the warpaint has sales at 1-2$. As mentioned, applied warpaints tend to have less value than an unapplied one. I your scattergun price this around1.8$ on Marketplace (or Steam Market if you use that), however, like almost all skins, it will take time to sell, so don't get impatient.

Best thing to do is buy it already applied
