Unfortunately cannot retrieve your items. Only advice I can give you, is learn from this mistake and move on.

Sorry for the loss of your items. Unfortunately after you have been scammed, there is no way to obtain your items again. The only thing you can do is take a lesson out of it and try to trade your way back up again.

You can also join the backpack.tf discord and ask for a second opinion if you encounter a suspicious situation and you're not exactly sure what to do.

How helpful it must be for him to hear “wow lmao can’t believe people fall for this” and other various dumb responses.

Try watching this to educate yourself about all the different scams out there.

Unfortunately, there isn’t a way to get your items back 😕

Besides reporting them to get them banned, there is nothing you can do. As already mentioned earlier in the thread, your items are unfortunately gone.

Remember that NO STEAM ADMIN will EVER contact you over steam chat or ask you to add them and there is no such thing as item verification.

Since you mentioned they stole your account, it is likely that your future trade offers will be redirected by the scammers. Follow ALL of these steps:

1. Change password immediately, and also change it anywhere else you have the same password set. The scammer will try to log into your email with it when he loses access.
2. De-authorize all other devices here: https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
3. Revoke any API keys set. Their only use, if you don't know what it is, is keeping control of your account. https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey . After revoking you do not have to generate a new one.
4. If this still doesn't resolve the issue, contact Steam Support at https://help.steampowered.com/
