Oli Posted July 16, 2020 Share Posted July 16, 2020 I like to sketch out my pieces with pencil and paper then implement color and effects onto them with procreate. I've been curious as to how much would be a reasonable price for my chest up pieces as well as my one full body piece. The full body one is Cthuthlu and Balrog from cave story. Cthuthlu is wearing a green black hole lucky shot, exquisite rack, and a hot woodland warrior rocket launcher. It would also be awesome if I could get some criticism on each of them (things you like, dislike, or stylistic choices). I've had some trouble with people seeing all of the attached images lately so I created an individual post for each. Oli Posted July 16, 2020 Author Share Posted July 16, 2020 The full body one took me 2 hours to get a sketch I liked, 12 hours to finish in procreate, and then some extra time talking to associates. The chest up ones took me roughly 1 hour to sketch, 6 hours drawing, and then another 2 hours fixing up with associates. For the most part the time I spend on these 2/3 is spent drawing them, and the other 1/3 of my time is spent getting critiques from associates (shadow misplacement, innacurate coloring, rando dots I left in, etc.) Oh yeah and the painting took longer than the others cause I've never really done something like that before.
