NEW GTX 1080 Drivers ruining TF2/CSGO FPS...

New NVIDIA drivers for GTX 1080 break Source game FPS. Especially CSGO and TF2

You can see in the screenshots what the FPS was like on 442.74, and what the fps is now like on the current 446.14 (at the time, but even the newest as of this post still has the same effect as the 446.14) for the GTX 1080.

I don't know if NVIDIA will ever fix this, apparently happening to 2060's as well https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/forums/geforce-graphics-cards/5/368459/after-new-update-fps-drop/

I have the same happening to me most likely, I recently updated my nvidia drivers (1050 Ti) and only have 5-10 fps in tf2 / sub 1 fps in csgo.

Buying a new pc anyways, but it is annoying for sure.

laughs in 1050

They probably will fix it with csgo's comp scene being so big. I'm guessing it's the same issue that's slowing down both games.

Update to Windows 10 20H1 and enable hardware-accelerated GPU Scheduling.

Also it looks like your VSYNC was enabled.

I'm running a GTX 1080 no issues.

The video is not mine. So I do not have vsync enabled. I have since rolled back to 442.74 and I've getting 100+ more fps on tf2 which is nice, but im not sure what u mean by update to windows 20h1, like how would i specifically update to that?
