spamm0
Basically what happened was that my friend was selling an unusual miami nights sober stuntman. He got an offer for an strange "festive" scattergun which was actually festivised and ended up falling for the the festive weapon scam. I want as many people as possible to report this user on every tf2 trading platform possible. D.Alex
This account is already SteamRep-marked as a scammer and has more than 80 -trusts on backpacktf. That did not stop your friend from being scammed by it. Now tell me, in what way what you're suggesting is going to be helpful?

Knightfury69
lmao thats one of the oldest scams and dumbest. sorry for your friend but the guy is already marked as a scammer and has a lot of negative trusts. so nothing else can be done lmao
Bob the Unsymmetrical
The difference between Festive weapons and Festivized are quite substantial. Festive Scattergun (for example) has the word Festive in the name and the scattergun icon is different as it faces the right. Festivised weapons has "Festivized" in the name. The icon is the same as the weapon that is applied, as well as the yellow, pretty obvious yellow text saying that is festivised. So is pretty easy to differentiate those two. superawesomefunclub
another one for him to look out for is the uncraftable lucky no.42 being passed off as craftable and less common but non craftable flip flops being passed off as craftable too, sorry for your friend but hover over the items with a mouse and you'll spot the scam
Zeus_Junior
Unfortunate of course, it is always a good idea to use https://rep.tf/ to check who you're dealing with. Any bans that matter (if they have any) will be displayed here. Simply rightclick anywhere on their steam profile (not links they put there), copy their profile url and paste it there. We do not allow witchhunts on the forums, so i'll lock this thread. A guide on reporting can be found here: http://forums.backpack.tf/index.php?/topic/53663-guide-for-reporting-on-the-main-site/
