Is it worth bot-tf?

Many people do not recommend the automatic buying and selling small items, if so, why are people still involved in that?

Are there more bots besides bot-tf?  I have not found any other

What is auto pricing? Do you pay the subscription of 3 keys per month and the prices change automatically (to make profit) even if you have more than 1k buy / sell orders?

If my understanding is correct, would it be 9 keys per month to keep the bot?  (except that the first time 10 keys per pre-order)

Is it worth the auto pricing?

Is your bot automatically premium in backpack-tf?

I have 80 keys and I was thinking about getting one

There are other options besides bot.tf, like TF2Automatic (https://tf2automatic.com/), which I used personally. And auto pricing for TF2Automatic is pretty good and I think it will work with more than 1k buy / sell orders (Currently my bot is banking ~900 items no problem).

The auto pricing feature I'd say is pretty necessary for trading bots, after all, you won't want to set the price by yourself every time other bots changed their price, not to say you are looking to bank that much items.

P.S. Bot.tf provides the hosting and a user-friendly interface as well, which TF2Automatic doesn't. So if you are looking for better management, I guess bot.tf is a better option.

Is renting the bot on bot.tf worth it?

Yes, on three conditions. One, that you know how to accurately eyeball risk vs. return of various items based on their current buy/sell orders (it would be idiotic to try and bank every single 40 ref item with 1 scrap spreads in existence). Two, that you already have a good idea of what your overall strategy will be, and that you spread yourself out among many items, which requires a good amount of capital (80 keys is more than fine, even deducting what you pay). And Three, that you specifically would prefer a convenient interface (which I personally do myself) which would be why you choose it over other bots. Also, I would heavily recommend paying the key to access the full bot.tf/stats page to determine what items are likely to be more profitable to bank, as you'll be able to see recent buys/sales from other bot.tf bots and a good approximation of the volume for that specific item (very important! You want to bank things that people will actually buy, most Genuines for example provably never sell in comparison to their Unique versions).

Is the autopricing worth it?

Only if banking non-Unusual items makes up a sizable portion of your bot's trading, which it likely will. It's always disabled on Unusuals (since this would be very abusable and dangerous for you as the owner). Without it, you would have to keep manually updating prices for every craft hat and would often endanger you from losing out on profit if you aren't actively monitoring them. For more valuable items like Max's Heads I would still keep it turned off though, as I feel like the suggested price on the autopricer has a massive tendency to completely break down on higher value items, and doesn't react in time to price crashes.

Other considerations:

No, it doesn't have bp.tf premium by default (unless maybe you get a bot that was abandoned by a previous renter? don't count on it though), and you likewise will have to invest in expanding your bot's backpack and bp.tf donations (for extra listings, which you will likely need as you start making hundreds of buy orders), which will be considerable upfront payments as well that you should be setting aside at least a few dozen keys for (although of course, you can just gradually add onto these as needed as you make profit with the bot).
