Meera Vaughan
Hey, I'm studying web scrapping and data analysis. Also i really love tf2 and tf2 economy particulary . So i decided to combine those two. The question is can I request a lot of bp pages and if so, how often?
Knurr
At first, take a look at bp.tf API: https://backpack.tf/developer I didn't check it myself but it's hidden in the footer of the site, so it may not be so obvious it exists. https://backpack.tf/robots.txt doesn't really say anything about spreadsheet so I believe it is not disallowed to scrape without API. Theres quite a few apis that provide most data you'll need https://backpack.tf/developer Currently the documentation for these isn't that good. But this browser script adds a few of the old docs pages. Why scrape when there are apis

If its a list of spells then you can use the tf2 schema. If its spells on a single item request their steam inventory: https://steamcommunity.com/inventory/76561198144346135/440/2 https://steamcommunity.com/inventory/ steamID / appID / contextID (this is 2) Or is it other spell data?
