Required some actions against Bots that bypassing bump time by deleting and re-creating orders

Hey everyone!

Two days ago I've reported some of the bots in Key Classifieds for the reason that mentioned in the title.

 

 

And Today I wondered If there is any action against the cheaters or not. As I see it any action didn't take against them by moderators.

And the number of cheaters are rising as you can see.

I think This problem might occur in any classifieds that bots involved.

There should be some limitations and regulations to prevent it doing over and over again.

It's only allowed to bump every 30 minutes

I would say that around 99% of the bots do this.

It's allowed to prematurely remove and re-add a listing to update listing information. Stock in this case.

Then there is no point to set bump time limit. Taking advantage from this feature is not a fair usage and As you can see bots are exploiting it at every 5 minutes.

All traders are equally deserve to be in the list for a certain period of time.

It's been discussed in the issue tracker several months ago and maybe even on the forums. I can't really find it right now. Anyway, you can do it too, without a bot

We want bots to update their stock so we dont get reports from people about the bots declining their trades. An issue was created with this but it is private.

However if there are bots that dont update their trade notes but are still relisting before the 30 minute mark, please make a user report on that bot with clear evidence

What does it mean 'clear evidence'? Those screenshots don't count? If you say so, what does?

What you sent in your original post shows that they were updating their stock, 6 to 7, 8 to 10 etc

This is really only a problem in the key classifieds, as those are traded the most and the stock is usually higher. Regular Unique hats and strange weapons etc dont have this issue.

No, on most on the items they make and delete listings, spamming the guys that have notifications on.

Relisting after 30 minutes is allowed. Because that is when you can relist / bump manually without premium or donator status too.
