daddy ducc
so this guy asked me 'that if you wanna trade something for some keys' and i said 'yes' 'but before u trade u need to add The steam 'Offical' called dr mc kay: https://steamcommunity.com/id/-DoctorMcKay234 after Added him the conversation goes like: 'hello steam user so i heard u have have some duped items and u need to pay 200 euros for the item verfication' after that he used the money for trading all my stuff from tf2 by useing the trade website TradeitGG and he traded it to Pocho: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198148103747/ Pocho is an obvios scammer because his profile is on private means he is hiding scammed items. I'm a 14 year old poor boy that got scammed by the 1st time and uses steam for 4 years. Put 600 hours on tf2 for playing and grinding items. insectitudo_azul
I'm sorry to hear that little one, there is not much to do in this case... you can gather all the proof you got and create a report case on steamrep and get those profiles banned. Don't trust people who add you for "promoting a gambling site" or "verifying your items" they are scammers. Good luck bro.

Offline
Unfortunate to hear that happened to you, but now you know what to expect. Getting scammed sucks, but now you’ll be able to take this loss and prepare for the future. It’s like a learning experience. If they fool you twice, something has to change. Don’t let them fool you again!

Scott Bakula
2 hours ago, Offline said: It’s like a learning experience. That's how I look at it too. It's not a matter of if a person will be scammed, but when, where, and how much. That first scam that shatters that aura of invincibility tends to help make people more cautious in the future. But better for that bubble to be popped with something like a virtual hat or some trading cards than on a car title or mortgage.
leftyy
the first time I got scammed was similar to this, it was my first and only unusual that I unboxed (it was also my first unusual)
DanielDee
Just curious, How did you pay him the 200 euros. In items? Also why would you pay him the items if you grinded them yourself you would of known they were all ok? I cannot quite figure out what Quote 'hello steam user so i heard u have have some duped items and u need to pay 200 euros for the item verfication' after that he used the money for trading all my stuff from tf2 by useing the trade website TradeitGG and he traded it to Pocho: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198148103747/ actually means. He used money to trade your stuff?. I can only assume from the incoherent text you are not a native english speaker because the sentence itself is iffy.. Thats quite harsh they impersonated the person who wrote most of the tf2 bot code repository. Dr Mckay is actually a nice person. Looks like he was impersonated in a very bizare way On another note. I have seen a very similar post to this before. And it actually came from a scammer fence. Not the subject of the scam. Never trust anyone who adds you randomly purporting to be steam admin. If you look up scams in steamhelp its one of the headers in the main discussion.https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=3415-WAFH-6433&l= Since you have his profile link you can login via the steam website (Webpage) and still report him. Its not possible in the client due to privacy restrictions but it should be perfectly possible to report on the website using the link they provide in that FAQ
