maria Posted April 29, 2019 Share Posted April 29, 2019 I've tried buying a 50,00 wallet card for marketplace.tf for the third time and it hasn't worked. So I decided to try again by ordering every single item I wanted until I got to 51,41 dollars. When I tried buying it, my credit card was declined. Honestly this could just be more of an issue with your bank rather than with marketplace.tf, I've had this problem before as well where I tried making a larger than usual purchase on marketplace.tf and the approval wouldn't go through. Calling the bank should resolve the issue though. Another way around it maybe (and I know it might be inconvenient) is to go ahead and pick up a prepaid visa gift card at the store and try checking out with that on marketplace, I've never run into any issues with them being declined that way, but yeah I understand your frustration with that. Maybe try the transaction again and if it still fails to be approved, try giving your credit card company another call and see how that turns out. Best of luck. Once I get to the verification part, and I click on "begin card verification", it just messages me "Your card was declined". I dunno what's going on.
