Need help determining the trade that took place

I'm trying to make a suggestion and I need to find out what was traded for an item. Problem is that the guy traded with a marketplace bot. I checked everything else he traded that day and they were all items from different marketplace bots so I best I can guess is that he sold it for money. I don't know if he could've traded it with marketplace bots and received items from a different bot than he sold it to (i.e. sells to bot #1 but receives payment from bot #2). It doesn't seem possible to me with how trading works but I don't know which is why I'm asking how I can find out what he sold it for. If I can't find out then that's really great.

Item in question: https://backpack.tf/item/7404953756

If it went to a marketplace.tf bot it was definitely deposited to marketplace.tf. Considering that the bot still owns it and there is one for sale on the site, it is safe to assume that it is still currently being sold on marketplace.tf.

I know that part. What I don't know is what marketplace bought it for.

That's not how marketplace.tf works, the user deposits their item on marketplace.tf and marketplace.tf provides them a platform to sell their hat for real world money, they still practically own the item and received nothing from marketplace.tf.

in other words or a simpler way,the bots of marketplace.tf are middlemans/'middlebots'(no pun intended).

If you need to see what he is listing it at or listed it at(sold for) , search for it in the search tool on marketplace. Seems simple i know but is the answer you require.

I did that on the side. It was not at all anything I pay attention to. It’s like walking to the store and finding pennies. I don’t go out of my way to find pennies but hey, I’ll take them
