Random Price Drops

I've noticed that my Cloudy Moon Cosa has been randomly dropping in price every couple weeks that I look at it. It seems to be that the last accepted price suggestion, 6 years ago, is randomly dropping its price. It went from 200 keys, to 180, to now 168. Was wondering why this is happening. Thanks.

It's because the last time it was updated, buds were still an accepted currency item. When buds crashed and stopped being a currency item, all items that were valued in buds were given an equivalent value in keys, based off the item's USD value at the time of the suggestion (As a hat worth 1 bud when buds were 25 keys is not still worth 1 bud when buds are 5 keys). As such, any time keys or refined changed in value, all items that are still on the old system are also affected and will see price fluctuations.

 

If the hat ever gets a new suggestion, that price will be key based and the item's value would become static.
