NeoXenoZ
What is the minimum percentage that still counts as a quicksell before it gets called a slight discount. What is also the maximum percentage of that still counts as said quicksell before it gets considered a lowball?

But is it worth to buy a really good unusual for 30% off quicksell?
humann
Don't talk about percents, always depends on the unusual, there's many unusuals that are underpriced which you can get an amazing deal paying full price, and there's overpriced shit which you can get ripped off paying 50% of the value or more. I'm tired of not so smart people saying "lol that's not a quicksale a quicksale is +30% off", don't be like that, use your brain, bp.tf is not a bible. LSO
Incoming memes regarding hard rules about percentages. I'm lazy af for examples but try getting even 14% off this https://backpack.tf/stats/Unusual/Le Party Phantom/Tradable/Craftable/13 And there are other unusuals with even narrower spreads. human__ summed it up perfectly. Always tired of hearing tHaT's NoT a QuIcKsAlE 3o% oFf reeeee
N.J
It really varies from hat to hat, for example, I own a burning merryweather, priced at 100, but buy orders are at 75 so a quicksell price might be around 80 or so, even though thats 20% off. For most hats I'd consider 30% a pretty average quicksell price, and that's the generally accepted qs price.

The whole point of quicksell is that it sells quickly. If you knock 10% off a hat and it sells within an hour of you knocking off that 10% you could say that was a quicksell. Buyers will spam that it should be 30% off at least but thats not accurate since there is always some wiggle room. At the end of the day you either check the market to see if you can flip the item for better or take a gamble and hope it pays off.
Neo_
Blame TheVirtualEconomist for spreading the idea that 30% off any unusual should be considered a “Quicksell”. Honestly, you can’t just watch some YouTuber explain trading and expect to be good at it without some trial and error. The basics of trading are learned from those videos but your main source of learning is going to be your experience buying/selling different unusuals/items. Horsestepping
Quicksell is a meme. Most hats won't sell quick and almost none of them will sell for 100% of their official value.

You can look at almost every non-retired item and see they have all fallen in value over time, which only happens when something sells for less than its proposed market value.
