Is it possible to somehow compete in trading with bots?

Whenever I make a listing, it immediately gets washed off by bo.. *cough* USER AGENTS bumping the same item every 5 minutes, therefore selling an item is impossible unless you are using a USER AGENT yourself.

How do I deal with this? I've had to sell my items elsewhere at a huge loss compared to the bot listings.

trade items that don't have markets dominated by bots?  most items that are dominated by bot trading aren't really worth buying and selling for profit (at least in the short term)

Go on chill trade servers (ones where people actually trade, not just sit afk). people will often buy from you rather than bots just because youre an actual person and also out of laziness. i made a lot of profit that way off of hats and stuff

it isnt really viable to compete with bots cus they usually operate on 1 scrap margin. u can only compete with dem when they r over-pricing an certain item and u can list it for the price u feel like is the correct price for the item

Get into unusual trading. 

Hardly any bots selling, and only extremely low quickbuyer bots. 

I made a fuckload of profit by deciding a good price to pay relative to exoected profit, and sometimes, because you are a human and talking to other people, you can get lucky. 

I once contacted a guy who wanted to sell 650 keys for cash, then later, after I bought the keys, wanted to sell his duped scorching TC for 700 pure. Sold the TC later for 1350 keys pretty much.

Do anything bots don’t. 

Examples: Spells, Unusuals, Low Crafts, Oddities, Special Sheens/Killstreakers, Cash, etc.
