Vision Posted August 31, 2018 Share Posted August 31, 2018 There is a way, and here are the steps. 1. Go to your desktop 2. Right click the icon 3. In the target text line, after the quotation marks, add these two lines --nofriendsui -nochatui, so the end should look like \Steam\Steam.exe" -nofriendsui -nochatui 4. Click apply, then OK. Now if you want to have the old UI you have to launch steam through that shortcut, however you can make it startup automatically with the old UI when Windows starts. 1. Press Ctrl+ R 2.Type in %appdata% 3.Go to Roaming/Microsoft/Windows/Start Menu/Programs/Startup 4. Place the shortcut there Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
