Ankle Jack
Ok guys i just recently found out that phishing links scam it's back but it changed. Thx to ApoqTF told me about that. So how this scam works is that if u sign in into phishing links or untrusted website your account will get hacked but it doesnt take your items. Let's say you send a guy for a Unusual for 8 keys. it will instantly cancel it.Then a bot will Impersonated the guy that u are trying to trade with. When you click on the trade offer it will say u won't receive anything from the trade so here is the point. It wil trick u that u think is something glitchy happanend to steam. After you accepted it you know what happanend. It's ok if your steam account got hacked just change your passward and everything should be fine and never clink links on steam even if the guy is close with you! You are missing one vital bit of information. If a user ever gets phished you have to ensure the API key is not enabled. If the api key is enabled and the phisher knows the code then changing your password will not stop them robbing/hacking/misleading you.

TheGlenCoco
All known methods if possible are usually used, groups of scammers just then try to find the most effective one for some time when they see it isn't working as it was they just use other methods.
