randalltheroach
I'm a relatively new SFM artist, I usually make personal posters using maps I make myself in hammer. On the off chance I do end up trying to make a poster in a Valve map, I was wondering if there was a way to remove this very distracting effect. Apologies if the answer is blatant and I just haven't searched hard enough. Thanks!( in case it's important, the map this screenshot was taken from is Nucleus )
Kevin the Chicken God
not really any way to get rid of this within SFM, you'd have to edit the map file within hammer to get rid of the light completely. You could use volumetric lights of your own to kind of hide it, or get a large model that fits the map and block it - but those are pretty shitty fixes
