Only had a single trade for high end. Getting more than a key for these things is absolutely impossible.

I can't find a single visible sale among any of these links. From personal experience, these things are impossible to sell for a key + rec; anything above a key flat is complete luck, and doesn't deserve to be in the range

A rec would be ~.05 keys, not .1. The fact that it took me posting this topic to sell one at this price still doesn't speak volumes for it's easiness.

It had been up for days without a counter-suggestion in sight. I would have accepted as well. It's not an item with a cooldown, so accepting it doesn't prevent others from refining it. In that regard, being that it improves on original price and had votes behind it, far better to accept and wait for someone to improve further than to both go against community vote AND leave it at an even worse price.

I completely agree that even the current range is probably too high, but my approach on suggestions improving the range over a previous range is to accept if the community is behind it. I would definitely not close that suggestion and leave the range at 1.1-1.2

I've been sayin it. This philosophy needs to be re-thought. I've missed quite a few suggestions with shitty proof or no proof, but when the range is "better but not accurate" it goes through.

I have asked suggestors to close and resubmit with a better range before. I have also accepted suggestions that were "better but not accurate" just as Polar did here. It's usually a question of whether votes back it up and how big the discrepancy is.

 

Here, I though the difference big enough to be misleading. I can see why Polar accepted it, however, and I might be biased due to personal experience (which is why I started this topic instead of posting in the price update request thread)
