No. Just because the guy that had the Cage wasn't smart enough to look around before offering, it doesn't make it a shark. Like Puddingkip said, its at most him sharking himself.

The first ones definitely not a shark. Both parties knew the value of each others items.

Looked back at the trade and its appears to be a scam (or manipulative at the very least--he linked the suggestion to the clean skull)

The second link is asking for 6 keys, its listed at 3 keys. Not sharking.

Actually, the first one is kind of scamming. Look at the notes, he linked the suggestion for the clean one (implying his is clean).

Didnt notice. If he wanted to claim it was clean skull than it is a scam.

Well he posted a link to manipulate a user to believe it was worth ~ 2 buds when it is worth 3 keys.

I missed that part too. That does change things as he definitely linked it with the intent of screwing someone over that wasn't paying attention to the link being a year old price for the clean one. I'd actually bring this up to an OP admin.

Just to prove that he knew the difference between craftable and uncraftable.

This one is from december 2012 and the other one from January 2014. The time between them is so great that tf2economy changed greatly in such a way that I call this invalid evidence. 2012 trading just isn't 2014 trading. If he purposedly linked tp the craftable item page and the guy believed it the seller is a douchebag but the buyer a massive fucking idiot.

It might be a shark, but I'm not in favor of banning the guy because sharking isn't outside my legal zone (Jjon for mod)

well, thats not just sharking; thats manipulative sharking--which you should seriously consider bad. I can understand considering what jon did to not be sharking, but blatantly trying to convince someone that something is worth more than it is, is no question sharking (and ban-worthy).

If you're dumb enough to sell your house/car/superawesomerarepainting for $10 you don't deserve to be helped.

Chipero is beyond helping at this point, but that doesn't mean Mr. Bloom should get away with it. What he did was an obvious attempt to mislead potential buyers and is easily grounds for being banned.

If you have to ask, 99% it's not.

The day when taking a good offer on outpost is considered sharking is when I completely lose faith in TF2.

edit: nvm.

So let's ban all the people overpricing their new effect unusuals by 200%-300% then.

It's better to hear both sides of a story first.

Innocent until proven guilty.......... right?

Posted this yesterday ( http://steamcommunity.com/groups/tf2outpost/discussions/3/558746089932426121/ ) Lets see what they have to say :)

Thats different.

If he was just trying to sell it for 2 buds, and it sold, i wouldn't have an issue with it. BUT he linked the craftable version, so he's either an idiot, or he's trying to trick someone.

Where is he linking the craftable one?

Edit: Oh I see.

Edit 2: Well I can't defend the guy anymore for taking a good offer as there was some scammy shit going on. Don't care of the outcome at this point. Moving on.
