Putin
Hey, as we all know the ref supply was decreased and everybody loosing their minds that the keys crashed and now everyone is jumping on the same train, lowering prices of the items just to sell them as fast as they can, cause the key value dropped in ref and as of that most of the items too. A good idea would be increase the value of ref to 9 cents like marketplace.tf did, it will stabilize the economy a bit, the items will increase in value and everyone would be happy. Simple solution, you can change the price on site whenever you want admins, if the prices starts to grow you can lower the ref to 8 cents and etc.
Scott Bakula
Calculating monetary value of refined doesn't work like that. Refined's value is based off what percentage of a key it would be. As a key is currently 27-28 refined, this means that at a refined value of 9 cents a piece, a key's worth of refined would be $2.41-2.52, which is much greater than the actual value of a key. Whereas with the current value of refined, you get a value of $1.76-$1.82, which is much more accurate. The reason you see sellers selling refined for a little more than the actual value is more a convenience fee than anything, where people are willing to pay a little extra to get the item quicker. And since we're talking about actual pennies here, it's easy to charge that little bit more.

I think most people would agree that if bp.tf admins could change the price of a currency with the click of a button, and not have to go through the same process that others do, it puts the entire point of community decided prices into question. SVENNEN123
This has nothing to do with the econmy crashing. As long as theres many players playing and enjoying the cosmetics and trading theres no problem! Which we have.
DTFPS
It’s been explained pretty well above. Trying to set the price kinda defeats the purpose of having a community-made economy in the first place. Also ref is now basically anchored to keys and keys aren’t dropping any time soon

Also if all that refined was from the bot farms, that decrease would have no effect on the economy as it had not entered the economy yet.
