how about tickets being concidered as a currency?

tickets are simmilair to keys in a way, once a ticket gets used - it stops existing, and people have to buy new ones, same with keys. The ticket price usually doesn't vary as much as a key's price, usually a ticket price varies from 13 to 17 ref usually (16-17 atm), and the price of a ticket in the mann co store is usually 85 euro cents, right now it's a 1:1 price according to https://calculator.tf/ .

Having 1 item worth of 17 ref is more practical than having 17 items worth a ref, don't you think? another concept is: items from 0 to 16,88 ref should be in ref, items from 17 ref and under a key should be in tickets, items over and 1 key should be in keys, how's the idea? Besides, almost nobody is using earbuds to trade at this point, so tickets could take it's place. A new fresh currency should mix the economics a bit.

Yes, having 17 ref in your inventory isn't as bad as having like 2 or more keys in ref in your inventory, but let's start from something little and something that has a more or less stable price (for now atleast).

maybe the idea is good, maybe the idea is bad, but it's still an idea.

I'm certain this has been discussed and suggested before

I like the idea, they're used quite often as sweets in unusual trades too, but i wouldn't price items >17 ref and <1 key in tickets, then a lot of items would be priced 1.4 tickets or something. Confusing

eh, maybe, buds for example are a currency but the items more than 1,65(atm) aren't priced in buds, so tickets can be a currency like buds, except tickets come and go like keys, and you can't get any more buds anymore. only lose them.
