i came across this user, https://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198032636421  via a steamrep report.it seems he has a bp worth 27k$ but has 11 negs trust.this user is active tho

Either a scammer alt that’s used to dump items, or the copying of the impersonator’s url gives the actual person’s backpack.tf(wasn’t there a case of that recently, leading to a high tier trader to be banned by steam for a while)

the 2nd part can be true but if its false,why hasnt the owner reported those ratings as false.some of them has been there for week.something is wrong somewhere

Why do ppl copy and paste the chats, its literally no more, no less than 0 proof. All of those -rep's could be removed by reporting them, right?

I feel like this is a case much like the high tier trader curiosity. He gets loads of -rep and doesn't report it but mods just clear it out often

he has also that genuine boiling taunt that you can only get by buying an expensive cooking-thing, dont think anyone just gave him that so I think hes legit

I know him, and he is not a scammer. He has several impersonators running around, and the negative trust on his backpack.tf is most probably from them. He hasn't been on much at all recently, and has been busy with real life, so he probably hasn't even seen the negative trust.

He has boatloads of them, mostly because he doesn't like profile comments and therefor has none, keeps a super small friends list, has a low steam level, and has a basic profile that is easy to replicate. I've probably seen 20+ just over the last month or two.
