Suggestion Question: Unusual Frenchman's Beret Stormy Storm [Jan 23-24 '14], 19-21 Keys, Closed Automatically

Here we go. I just want to make this CLEAR, I'n not trying to start a flame war, I am just trying to gather answers,advice and the proper knowledge on how to improve my suggestions. Nothing wrong with that right?

*Just would like to know how this got rejected for no reason, I know at the time someone else created a similar suggestion based on the same item but was posted a few hours after my own one. We are both trying to reduce the price, his suggestions even has the exact links as mine but I have a lot more proof. Would kindly just want some answers on this.

hmmm from the looks of it seems like the other suggestion showed that sales were higher than your suggested high range (sales at 1.2 buds) as well as having a better range (currency). If your lower end is a bud as well as having multiple sales at 1 bud generally you should price it in buds instead of keys.

 

Your suggestion wasnt "rejected", when 2 or more suggestions for the same item are made if the mod accepts one of the open suggestions the others all automatically close :S

If an Unusual is worth around 17-18 Keys but proof/sales show that it's being sold for 1 Bud, when you are making a suggestion do you change the price to 1 Bud or 19-20 Keys??

Generally if you have sales below 1 bud it should price it in keys, or else you'll have weird ranges like 0.6-1bud xD

 

It's up to the suggester really, i tend to take the lower end of buds but some others take the mid range (19.5 keys) Both tend to be accepted by the mods.

 

Eg:

1) Sales at 14 keys and some sales at 1 bud

 Range = 14-19 keys 

or else you get 0.7-1 bud which looks kinda ugly

 

2) Sales at 19 and multiple at 25 keys

range = 1-1.3 buds

Your suggestion wasn't "rejected." When there are two suggestions up at the same time, the mods accept what we think is a better representation of a hats value. The current listing for the beret was 1-1.2. The other suggestion showed a sale at 1.2 in pure that your suggestion unfortunately did not account for. That's why I accepted the other suggestion.

If sales are <1 buds you should put it in keys. If sales are >1 buds, put it in buds. If there is overlap, it doesn't really matter. While on hats worth >1 buds, we argue that prices track in buds. On low tier hats, it really doesn't matter. You can do either keys or buds.
