AwesomeMcCoolName Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 That's pretty ignorant, one of the main reasons why people don't support gay marriage is because it means denying that all children deserve a mother and father. Raising a kid under poor circumstances is one thing, but to intentionally separate them from a biological parent and leave them without a male or female role-model, I don't agree with that. I guess this is a little off-topic, though, so I won't say anymore regarding this. Not really....
Pyrous Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 Birth rights = what kind of person you are "born" into whether you like it or not Non-heterosexuals = targeted group Heterosexuals = agent group Conclusion: Being homosexual or whatever your sexual orientation is completely natural, there's even several other members of the animal kingdom that have homosexual relationships with one another. It has also been shown in more modern studies that the reason why having older brothers increases the chance of being homosexual is due to the fact that for every male child that a mother has, her body will see the male fetus as an error and will begin to feminize it. Therefore as the more male offspring are born after being in the same womb, they are more likely to become homosexual themselves.

They're not 'intentionally separating' them from anyone, rather the opposite. Additionally, children without a father/mother usually turn out just fine, and if they really need someone of the 'missing' gender to talk to I'm sure there will be family-members willing to do that. My stepsister's father died when she was very young, which was horrible of course, but in no way is she 'broken' because of it. What do you mean by 'under poor circumstances'?
There Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 Additionally, children without a father/mother usually turn out just fine, http://www.fatherhood.org/media/consequences-of-father-absence-statistics
jorisk322 Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 http://www.fatherhood.org/media/consequences-of-father-absence-statistics That article is about single mothers, which means there's a high chance that the parents got divorced/ended their relationship, which has an impact as well. Since there's only one parent the children will (on average) be alone more than in a gay relationship, where they would still have two parents. This could be a cause of the behavioural/social/emotional problems. The same goes for the poverty-thing: two mothers can both have a job, while a single mother can't work for two. + Just fine =/= statistically 100% superman and I'm still pretty sure that adopted children are far better off.
Gone Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 Not to mention that aids originated in Africa. The way it originated was someone did it with an ape. Since apes were the ones that first had aids
jorisk322 Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 The way it originated was someone did it with an ape. Since apes were the ones that first had aids I hope you don't mind I'm putting that in my sig.
Gone Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 I hope you don't mind I'm putting that in my sig. Wait. Is it wrong?
AwesomeMcCoolName Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 The way it originated was someone did it with an ape. Since apes were the ones that first had aids ummmm not exactly. SIV was a form of HIV in monkeys, which was able to be transferred by being in close proximity to monkey carriers.
F CHARLIE Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 As this got way off track....sexual orientation has no effect on raw genetic talents so its not a trait that would be removed by evolution (many high performing people are homosexual from actors to scientists to navy Seals). More over, it doesnt seem that it could be removed as it is not a trait that is passed down but instead is random. In addition, the rest of the population can easily make up for lack of children produced.
Grimes Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 Pretty sure the first case of aids was in Haiti, could be wrong though.
