Administrators OverduePixels Posted January 23, 2014 Administrators Share Posted January 23, 2014 Hello there everyone. Hope you all are doing well. http://backpack.tf/vote/id/52dea43b4cd7b80e338b4568 How did this get accepted over this? http://backpack.tf/vote/id/52dbf2c44dd7b82f738b4568 Had only proofs of his/her own trade to support the end range [2.66 ref] (Which is not allowed anymore, according to the new rule implanted) None supporting the end range except one. Links: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17403901 --> 2 ref seller http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17310577 --> Considering this was created 5 days ago, 2 ref seller again (Sold?) http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17384799 --> 2.33 ref seller (Sold?) http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17457525 --> 2.66 seller (After the suggestion got accepted) Just for the heck of it. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17289331 --> Scrap each? Still sellers below market price and at low end. Not sure why it got accepted with only his/her own trade shown. Not sure why Python didn't reply either of this getting accepted. Elaborate? Thanks. Have a great one!
Baloo
2 refined sellers are poorly bumped and would have been excluded from either range. There was enough proof to show that 2.66 refined occurred frequently enough to be included in range along with 2.33 refined and everything in-between those two values. Yes, but the proofs shown on 2.66 ref was of his/her own trade none others supporting it perhaps except one? There is a clear rule on this that, majority or all proof of your own won't be accepted. http://forums.backpack.tf/index.php?/topic/4249-new-rule-for-all-non-unusual-suggestions/ I know many of Wrenches has parts and whatnot added but still if there is a rule implying that you can't have your own proof to suggest a new price if you are completely basing the new range of your own trades. If we can base it of our own trade with over 4 to 5 links and get suggestion accepted, I don't see why the rule was even implanted to begin with, so I am unsure about why it got accepted. If this is possible, I can buy many of the same item (Especially a rare/not lots available in the market) and sell it off at higher price and use it as proof and show only me as a seller can sell at above market price whereas there are no sellers in market at the new current range I am suggesting at all. Slocumruls
You'd have to actually successfully sell. I would argue that if you are successfully selling "many of the same item" at above the current bp.tf suggested range that suggesting to meet or get closer to your selling price would seem reasonable. However, if you are selling at higher range there is most likely at least 1 other person doing the same thing.
