Impossible to price unusuals

My suggestion would be a feature on the site applied by a moderator that warns the suggesters from wasting a lot of time on those impossible to price hats.

e.g when you're spending like an hour on a suggestion but when you finish it you find that all the proof you've collected is not valid for some reason,, basically discuss with a mod to make a small warning on that hat to prevent other suggesters from falling to the same mistake.

There should be rules for applying this like having +50 accepted unusual suggestions or iunno, your thoughts

Reason im suggesting is to speed up the process of unusual updating due to the new rule [Hats with an outdated price (>3 months old) are not valid proof]

Wouldnt work well. The tagged unusual could theoretically obtain valid sales after the warning is applied, which means that warning would be invalid, but no one would bother checking since its "un-updateadble" . Yes, I have this problem, but I dont think this system would work well. Too much hassle for the mods too.

im not aiming to lock them,, its just a small mark that notify those who want to make fast suggestions that this hat is hard to price.

Hmmm i can see this causing issues as when time passes and there is sufficient proof to update the unusual, suggesters would stay away from it because if this mark :S

Can set a time limit on this mark but then you might not have researched enough or another sale might pop up the next day.

Good point,, a time limit can be useful

but then you might not have researched enough or another sale might pop up the next day.

This shouldn't happen if we make some rules on the mark
