Julia Gillard the Honest
(This is for the ones who actually have the power/knowledge to do this and not just the support receptionists.) Just curious to know, why haven't any given themselves, say, 500 Max's Severed Heads and sold each of those for money? Sure they'd be fired but I don't think that it's illegal. Why not do that with Burning Team Captains?
Bakgrund
That would mean that hundreds or even thousands of players stop playing tf2, a company get customers by good reputation, if their reputation suck, no one will buy their shit.

Julia Gillard the Honest
because a job is worth more than a few team captains. I had more like a backpack's worth (2000) in mind, perhaps with various valuables so as to not destroy the value from rarity. You're right about the job part though, I'm thinking. They'd probably need to be sold cheaply for a few hundred dollars each. Such an act would destroy a programmer's reputation for only a year or two's worth of pay to him/her. Baloo
Meh, items would drop in value, nobody would want them. (Lvl 1 Max) Yes, no one wants a level 1 Max head, that's why they pay $80+ worth of virtual items for one, and why people selling a Max Head at 2 buds get bought up almost instantly, regardless of level. Stop using hyperboles. Its annoying.

Baloo
They were used to be worth less. You know it's true. They didn't used to be worthless, no one went around giving away Max Heads. The reason level 1 Max Heads are more available is because many Max Head codes weren't claimed when the game that had them as a promotional item came out. Promotional levels had been randomized, but then moved to set values after the initial promotion. The Max Heads, however, were still claimable, but the set value for the promotion was level 1 and that's why level 1 has a greater percentage available. Hackers discovered the claim codes were still active, so they claimed them and liquidated them for cheaper which is the reason they have a bad rap about them.
