Mr. Bucket
I know I used to copy and paste their prices to make backpack.tf prices lol. I also used it for the first few months after I became mod, to make sure suggestions were at least somewhat accurate. Seems like no one uses it nowadays though, at least no one on Outpost. I think that's partly thanks to us, everyone started migrating over here. http://tf2spreadsheet.traderempire.com/
Avenging Flame
The guy who runs it was always a price manipulator. You could check what items were recently bumped in price and then go to his backpack and see he was stocking up on them, then as soon as he sold, the price would go down. Though I did win a free key off the site one time

F CHARLIE
I never used it. Thought it would be dead now. Finance is kinda in the same place isn't it? Not because of manipulation but redundancy as well as other things. Just the 2 sheets now and each has different functions in a sense. I know I used to copy and paste their prices to make backpack.tf prices lol. I also used it for the first few months after I became mod, to make sure suggestions were at least somewhat accurate. A: At least one update occurs every day - rain or shine. There are days when 2 or more price updates can occur. We are working on making the updates real-time so more to follow on that. Duscoda
Its always 1 of 3 people that still use it. A. A trader that quit prior to the whole price manipulation scandal who started trading again months later, completely unaware how the events and how unpopular it is now. B. An active trader that is aware of the terrible prices and tries to use it to their advantag,e ei when they had the Vintage Stash priced at 6 keys when the market was flooded with them at 2 keys. C. New players that just got into trading being referred to the site by the people in Group B. Usually because the new player had something worth a lot that the site was underpricing, or was looking to buy something the site was overpricing. Avenging Flame
7 KEYS FOR A BILL'S. HAH. The whole thing went down long before I started trading. Anyone care to fill me in? Basically the guy claims he has bots that scan all the major trading sites to fairly evaluate the prices but he has been called out so many times now for lying that its ridiculous. He is a blatant price manipulator. He acquires an item, stocks up on them by setting the price low and then raises the price by a lot when he is finished collecting before dropping it again after he has sold. Around the time this site got up and running, his price manipulation was so blatant that just about everyone caught on to what he was doing. So much so that he tried to make a reddit post explaining his process but it failed because it was so easy to disprove what he was saying

♠Derpeh♤
7 KEYS FOR A BILL'S. HAH. The whole thing went down long before I started trading. Anyone care to fill me in? Basically it was the bp.tf a while back, except no one disputed the prices and the prices are made by a bot and a team of moderators who would review the changes...etc, they dont reveal why it was changed and people just accepted it. Essentially, it seen by many players as the bible of tf2 trading, they started losing creditability when the owner of that site started stocking up on stuff, up it's price, sell it out and lower it again. There were a few reddit threads talking about some of the things the owner did created a shit storm, the owner addressed these issues but was easily disputed. They went down the drain when bp.tf came to be and showed how a lot of their prices were clearly inaccurate eg their prices for vintages were pretty darn high making people question their pricing methods and bp's pricing methods whoch shows reasons why it's price came to be gradually became more accepted and people changed over. Many of bp's prices were a lot lower than spreadsheet, yet spreadsheet was adamant of keeping it high when there was clear proof shown by bp that it should be lower where as spreadsheet simply asked you to accept their price...etc
Woifi The Viking
I'm glad that spreadsheet existed. Without it I would have gotten ripped off way more. Cedarium
I was still using the spreadsheet into late 2012, before backpack.tf became immensely popular. I switched over around early November when I purchased my firt unusual, and have stayed ever since. HusKy
I remember when everyone was using "sheet" prices and it was definitely the "go-to" place. It seems like it died right after they changed their domain/hosting/website or whatever.
