What's the big deal about these collectors items? I don't see how they're any more of a big deal than vintages or genuines

What's the big deal about these collectors items? I don't see how they're any more of a big deal than vintages or genuines. At least with  australiums and festives they actually look different and stranges count your kills. collectors are just rare vintages/genuines with a text color, which just seems like a cheap way of making things valuable.  Ones like the rocket launcher might be kind of cool, but other than that ehh..... Also, can't people craft these things for like 2-3 keys in weapons?

I don't like them either. If they're going to do something like this, at least release a set amount for every item. Maybe they could do something like what they did with the sets when they nerfed them.

There is no big deal, they are just rare but function and look just as a normal item.

 

And yes you can get 200 of the same weapon for 3 keys.

drop rate of collector kits,the time needed to collect 200 of them. and you think its the same as a million of others vintages that everyone basically got for free after the "vintage update",or a promo-genuine

The weapons I understand, but the hats are where it's at.

Like for a Collectors Team Captain that takes 10 buds to create. People are paying top dollar for collector hats it's ridiculous.

Find unusual that has 200+ copies... Buy all... Buy chemset... Profit???

no need for 200+ unusuals lel

 

i think 200 normal hats can be applied to an unusual version of the hat (with a schem set)> making it collectors unusual (in theory)

Add a pro kit to the collector's weapon and suddenly it does do something special ;)

If I were a tc collector I wouldn't care until I had every tc bellow ten buds already and even then, no.
