Kevin the Chicken God
Ive been having some issues with my TF2 recently. I was installing a HUD in Team fortress 2 today, after extracting it to my steam>steamapps>common>Team Fortress 2>tf>custom, I was greeted by this error when starting up tf2: http://i.imgur.com/UyOEuDi.png . I had seen this error before, so I went to my game library, right clicked on Team Fortress 2, went to Properties, and verified my game cache. I attempted to start tf2 again, and the same message popped up. I then proceeded to delete my resources folder, tried again, still the same error. As a last resort I uninstalled tf2 and reinstalled it, but I still got the error. Steam has a page on this error, and I attempted every method that was suggested, but I can't get the error to go away. I've asked my more tech-savvy friends and they're clueless. I have over 1.5k hours in tf2 and 2 years on Steam, and Ive encountered this message before, but I've never seen it be so persistent before. I like TF2, and it's one of the few games that my pc can run at over 10 frames, so please suggest stuff I could do. Also, I've been having issues with TF2Outpost since the recent update. I use Firefox, and my outpost is broken to the point where if I hover over an item, it shifts the entire screen. I can't check item histories or search stuff up, I can always just open up Internet Explorer, but I dont wanna spend 3 hours making one suggestion :3. If anyone else is having this problem/have had it fixed, please let me know.
