TF2 Issues+TF2Outpost Issues

Ive been having some issues with my TF2 recently.

I was installing a HUD in Team fortress 2 today, after extracting it to my steam>steamapps>common>Team Fortress 2>tf>custom, I was greeted by this error when starting up tf2: http://i.imgur.com/UyOEuDi.png . I had seen this error before, so I went to my game library, right clicked on Team Fortress 2, went to Properties, and verified my game cache. I attempted to start tf2 again, and the same message popped up. I then proceeded to delete my resources folder, tried again, still the same error. As a last resort I uninstalled tf2 and reinstalled it, but I still got the error. Steam has a page on this error, and I attempted every method that was suggested, but I can't get the error to go away. I've asked my more tech-savvy friends and they're clueless. I have over 1.5k hours in tf2 and 2 years on Steam, and Ive encountered this message before, but I've never seen it be so persistent before. I like TF2, and it's one of the few games that my pc can run at over 10 frames, so please suggest stuff I could do.

Also, I've been having issues with TF2Outpost since the recent update. I use Firefox, and my outpost is broken to the point where if I hover over an item, it shifts the entire screen. I can't check item histories or search stuff up, I can always just open up Internet Explorer, but I dont wanna spend 3 hours making one suggestion :3. If anyone else is having this problem/have had it fixed, please let me know.

1) uninstall your hud and added on files, verifying only fixes your base tf2 files it DOES NOT fix your hud or any added on files (ie reskins, huds, hit sounds...etc) so verifying wont help you here

The constant updates to tf2 broke a lot of huds most likely same scenario.

2) the outpost issue most probably your addons which screwed something up, in most cases it's your adblock, just use chrome :)

1) I did uninstall the HUD I extracted to the folder, but I also had another HUD within the folder, should I uninstall that as well?

2) yeah, chrome works a lot better
