Starting trading again. Need lil help on how to start.

I know the sites, prices and all. However, I dont know where to start. I was thinking about buying 20$ worth of keys and with that I'll gain profit. I just dont know what is the new hot thing/s, or if the low-teir trading is still alive.

Affordable unusuals are always easy to sell. They come and go much quicker as more people are willing to buy budget unusuals but the profit margin is quite minimial compared to higher tier trading, which takes longer. It balances out in both cases essentially but if you know what you are doing and take high reward risks with careful thought, I reckon profit is always there.

spells seem to be quite popular these days, so do some rare halloween effects. I'm not too sure why, just guessing cos spells look cool and old halloween unusuals are sometimes rare. Also frostbite seemed to be going up in price for a while but is seems to be plateauing now. but meh what do i know lol.

Simply put

 

Bigger unusuals, bigger discounts, longer time

Smaller unusuals, smaller discounts, small amount of time

 

Good looking hats -->> sells well

bad looking hats -->> sells bad

 

Good looking effect -->> sells well

bad looking effect -->> sells bad

 

Good looking effect + good looking hat -->> sells really well

bad looking effect + bad looking hat -->> sells really bad.

 

if you can't tell the difference just ask.

 

You can use forum status update/discord to check to see before you buy if the thing you want to buy is bad or not. 

You'll learn as you go along.
