Frostnip
I'm sure this has been brought up, but I'm not sure that this 2013's Festive weps will be as valuable in 2-3 years as the others, I.E SF Rocket Launcher. The only Festives I see being more valuable are the Festive Black Box, Festive FaN, and the Festive Eyelander. (All Strange, mind you.)What are your guys' thoughts on this?
Bakgrund
They will never be as valuable as the s.f stock weapons, they are much more rare and popular.
whopz
I don't think they'll be worth anywhere near the stock SF stuff. The wrapping paper turns me completely off them.
F CHARLIE
Sf Black Box may become very valuable. It looks good and is a very popular weapon. Of the others I like the Wrangler and Eyelander to do well long term. No new Sf will be as valuable as the originals because those were the main stock weapin for each class and there wasnt nearly as many unboxed because tf2 was still growing. Wrangler will be hurt bad whenever a non-festive version is released, unless its in a Salvage/Reserve Crate as rare as #30. I can see the Blackbox going up to around 8-10 keys since its rarer than the most expensive 2012s and is about as popular.

I think they may release the wrangler in a salvage as they no longer profit from this one but why waste a salvage spot on something that exists. What do u think would happen if the sf black box becomes preffered over the SF rocket. The s box has gone nuclear.

The s box has gone nuclear. there are more than twice as many sf black boxes than sf rockets, rockets have the name to be stable and wanted. sf boxes are still a guess. Will they become valuable? Investment wise, I'd buy into sf rockets. They'll fluctuate maybe between 2 and 3 buds. Still a possible bud profit. Sf boxes can fluctuate between 5 keys and maybe a bud. That's high speculation and good odds are it will never reach a bud. So even though people might prefer the sf box as a weapon, they won't prefer it as an investment. Sounds weird, and it is, but people are fucked up weird and the tf2 community is clearly no exemption

I never expect the box to get to a bud but since u can get them for 4 keys now it seems smart to stock a lttle.
Moonlight
my bet: the black box will be the big one for this year like last year's granade launcher and huntsman. also this will be followed by the sapper and fan mid tier would be crusaders crossbow, eyelander and wrangler, low tier will be flaregun, jarate, and gru especially the gru because it would be used the least of these due to lack of killing power. that and i am trying to sell my s.f. crossbow later on for like 5 keys (next christmas)
