Duscoda Posted January 7, 2014 Share Posted January 7, 2014 Lets face it. Pretty much nobody plays the old MvM missions in Mann Up mode when you can get solid gold weapons and killstreak items. Plus chem sets have consumed several, the number of plain ones (no parts or killstreaks) seems to be shrinking. So whats going to happen to them? Baloo Posted January 7, 2014 Share Posted January 7, 2014 You break even, or closer to even, playing the new missions because of the parts you get to fill the kill streak fabricators, and australium weapons are still the most valuable, so I doubt anyone will play the old missions any time soon. However, this is true that it has decreased drastically the amount of players who are playing old Mvm tours. Anyways, if this continues then it will lead to price increase in Gold/Blood botkiller weapons, because supply would decrease but however, the demand has to be minimum for it to increase. This is more geared towards the low tier (silver, rust, carbonado) botkillers. They seem to be the ones that are most effected by the new tour and chem sets. The Australians would only be available from 2 cities. There are many benefits to this approach. - Newer players Lets face it. Are they just going become so uncommon that the force people to play other tours? I never played MVM before this update. The items help buy ticketstickets. I trade robot parts for a rec each. That's an 18 weapon drop to you for 1+ hrs when u finish a board. I believe this goes back to original problem booklets had. If they had reskined the whole weapon instead then they would be more valuable. Imagine the diamond colored minimum. That's all the Australian weapons are.
