Claudio Ranieri sacked by Leicester City

Today, Claudio Raneiri got sacked by Leicester City. A rather small football club in England. Last season, they became 1st in the Premier League which is something that no-one thought they'd ever see. Leicester City becoming 1st is the same as unboxing a Burning KE, chances of it happening are extremely small. But, he did it. He brought the team to spot 1 and even ended in the last 32 in the Champions League. The league where clubs such as Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Milan, PSG and many others play. He even got FIFA Coach Of The Year. After these incredible achievement, this season they dropped back to the place they originally were. Apparently, that was enough to fire the coach.

In my opinion, it's absolutely disgusting. A few months ago there were petitions to build a statue for the man and he earned worldwide recognition for the club. Now, he's fired. Shameless and disgusting in my opinion. How do you feel about this matter? Did he got sacked rightfully or not?

He's obviously a legend for them, but as a defending champion, Leicester City should be playing much better than they are. Apparently they haven't scored a goal in 8(?) matches this year, so they need to make a change.

Also "The departure of Ranieri means that four of the last five Premier League-winning managers have left their jobs before the end of the following season, following Roberto Mancini (2011-12 winner, sacked May 2013), Sir Alex Ferguson (2012-13 winner, retired May 2013) and Jose Mourinho (2015-16 winner, sacked December 2015)." - changing managers after winning the Premier League seems to be really common now.

they scored yesterday lol. And I think sacking Ranieri was really stupid, Leicester has always been bottom prem. Last year was a one time thing, everybody knew that. Now they're even above the relegation mark and sack their manager for poor results? It's not like the players are great, or as if anybody expected them to have a real shot at winning the prem again. Them being bottom prem again is no surprise, and shouldn't be a surprise to anybody

Well... guess I was wrong

Watching Leicester play under Shakespeare today, and earlier in the league it was all there again. The players, the talent, the hope, the meme and the magic. Sacking Ranieri might have been the right call, because this is the Leicester that upsets teams bigger and better than themselves. I think they might actually win the CL now, because they once again have something to believe in. They're the underdog once more. They were never going to win the Prem this year, but now they're among the best 8 teams of the world in the QF of the CL.

Also seeing Kante with that massive smile in the stands today was so beautiful.
