Connection failed after 4 retries. Help?!

Yo, need some help.

 

I've gotten this error message before but not like this.

Every time I try to join off of a friend or connect to a server via IP in the Console it says "Connection failed after 4 retries". The little bar at the right also only has 2 bars and never moves.

I also can't join any casual or competitive game. I can queue but I will never join a game after 20+ minutes.

 

Any help? I tried restarting my computer, restarting my router, trying my hotspot, trying to change the connection info, etc.

I had something like this happen once and it cleared itself up after a few hours, so I'm not sure if it was steam or my ISP or what...but nothing I did helped in the meantime.

The client port thing usualy works for me. It sometimes resets but it should work as a fast fix

For me also around 4 months ago, +clientport 27006-27031 worked. But i had to change it everytime while relaunching the game. After some days , it automatically resolved on its own.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?
