How Sheens / Killstreakers look like

well the story goes this way.

 

killstreakers are the effect you see on the eye/only professional weapons have a killstreaker

specialized and professional share the same shean.

the color of the effect(killstreaker is determined by the shean.

so if you have a tornado killstreak with mean green shean the effect will be green after the shean

if the shean is team shine the effect of the tornado will be team color.

Question: Do you think a scattergun killsteak fabricator would work with a festive scatter gun (strange quality if it matters)? 

since yesterday's update prof spec and simple killstreaks are eligable for use with the festive edition of the weapons

 

expect festive miscs and a festive pda that will festivize the sentry.

I am gonna correct myself.

I made a spreadsheet to gauge which fabricators I should buy and discovered they all cost the same.  I used steam market prices for this.

There is more profit than this in the killstreak buisness and you need to add to the cost the tour of duty required to gather such big amounts of craft parts. each pro killstreak will consume 2 killstreak kit 2 specialized kits +84 parts

I've been looking around google for a while to see what kind of killstreak effects people like, and so far, I have not seen anything that would tell me which effects are good and which effects are bad. So I decided to do something for myself, and have people tell me what they think.

 

Here's how I would rank the effects: (top=best, bottom= worst)

 

1. Tornado - I find tornado the most different from the current unusual effects, and for some reason, kind of mesmerizing. 3. Singularity - It's a nice effect that looks good when on a 5 killstreak, although it's not very visible to people. It looks very good at 10 kills.

4. Flames - It's a good effect, but unfortunately, not very visible on any streak. 5 killstreak effect is disappointing.

5. Cerebral discharge - This effect is a bit weird. It's different for every picture that I have seen. In some cases, it looks decent, and for others, it looks very bad. On top of that, I do not believe that it matches up well with any hat.

6. Incinerator - Half of it is smoke. Not many people like smoky effects.

7. Hypno-beam - It looks weird, and it is disliked by many people from what I saw when I was looking around the internet.

A quick fact: any killstreak weapon counts towards your total streak (ex. 2 kills with a specialized scattergun + 1 kill with a killstreak flying guillotine + 2 kills with a professional bat = a 5 kill streak and activates the bat's killstreaker)

You still need to have the weapon active to see its killstreaker though.

Its possible there is a glitch with as valve only recently made them able to killstreak like most weapons were before.

There can be good profit.  The point I made there was that every specialized kit has the same cost to produce make some of them pointless to craft as the market price of the item may be below that cost.  Also, if you see any specialized unique items on the market at or below $2.99 grab it.  That is better to use in pro set than using crafting material.

As it turns out the cost of making the Pro kit appears to be the same for one kit to the next.  The only other cost is the acquisition of the fabricator and the item it was applied to.  Similarly true of the spec kit.
