It just doesn't react to touch, if i leave it sometimes it might work for a few seconds and then not work, it barely slides, i took the screen protector off and hard reset it a few times, the screen still is unresponsive

How do i fix this?

Should be the top button, which isn't your home or volume buttons.

I said i already did that

its called a hard reset, and who called it the sleep/wake button, its the lock button

Had that problem on my android.

Usually its the touch something app being outdated I believe. Update it.

If that doesn't work, go get it fixed somewhere.

OR

Backup your data and format it. See if it works. If it does, move your data back. If it doesn't, go buy a new phone.

have you jailbreaked your phone? if yea it could be a package that makes it lag

otherwise maybe you have too much stored data, try deleting some apps

you could try restoring it , last resort

You say that as if removing the iPhone's battery is a simple task.

As I said, pop it open and see if all the cables (ribbon or not) are connected. If that ain't it, shit lad maybe Apple will help you.

Huh, yeah I should've known.

OP, check if you can get it repaired or replaced under their applecare warranty. If not, time to pop it open

I've had an iDevice apart before, and from my experience the screen (digitizer) is connected to the phone through a small ribbon cable that sits on a holder with clips. Can you take the screen off gently and see if that ribbon has popped part way out of its housing?
