No I mean like my spell costs 2 - 3 ref but the paint costs 1 key. So do I add the cost of the paint onto my spell?

its not painted......thats just the way the schema portrays it.

There is no paint applied to your spell. It is just the price of the spell and as Awesome, the spell has the same icon like a painted item.

Basically a spell is a paint itself.
