Buy my mixtape fam Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 So, I need some help, as I'm at my absolute wit's end with this piece of shit that passes itself off as a "computer". My dad is great at building computers, just not so much picking parts from scratch, and I'm sure not, so I'd like some help designing a build for myself. Budget: $500 What's necessary: Running GTAv Running most modern day games Not being a ball of lag What I'd like: To be able to run GTAV, and at highest settings possible (my bar isn't very high for the settings, though) 8 GB of ram What I don't need:Any addons, i.e. mouse, monitor, Hard Drive (I have a 250 gb samsung ssd) My dad also has a 960 gtx lying around, although he might use it for himself, so that's questionable. I'm okay with sacrificing certain things like having an ugly case for better performance. Thanks in advance /summon smart people
Wooden House Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 if you can get his 960 you should be good on medium settings for most modern games.
Slippery Dolphins Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 I get 30 FPS max settings with Radeon r7 250 which is like 4 years old
