Building a PC

The Penguins

Recommended Posts

I've convinced my parents to allow me to custom make my PC, but they want a shop to do it (I found one that does it at a fair price). Anyways, can anyone help me with a build for the PC?

It just needs to run games like TF2, Minecraft, Fallout 4, This War of Mine at good fps at high settings. Budget is like ~650, mostly what I can earn with my job, just can't do like $1000 or something

Video card is up to preference but the 960 is decent, might want more ram. Also, reddit.com/r/buildapc might be a better place to ask about pc building than here

Not sure if that little board will be able to hold up with such a power hungry chip. Also the Corsair CX series is pretty crap tier.

Here's what I came up with. I can't say for sure but the shop might be able to install windows for you at a better price than buying a copy yourself, be sure to ask them about that. If this goes above budget you could potentially replace the r9 380 with a GTX 950 and still be able to run Fallout 4 pretty well.
