Your Christmas Gifts

Recommended Posts

For those who just had Christmas (Pacific Islanders, Aussies, New Zealanders, South East Asians, East Ruskis) or WILL have christmas tomorrow ('Muricans, Europeans, Africans, South Americans, East Europe), what were the most notable and memorable gifts you were given this year?

If possible, explain why they were so special, I have two of my favorite ones here;

1. I got a Chef's Knife Kit for Christmas. Why is this so valuable? Well, for my HSC (The Aussie equivalent of the SATs at the end of Year 12) I'm one of 12 students out of 200 chosen to do a Hospitality class since the start of 2015, and my parents are superbly proud as such. They bought me the Knife kit because they expect me to cook them food later. Not today, dear Mother, not today. Perhaps when I finish my HSC but not today, I'm too lazy for that

2. I got these Foam gigantic gloves that double as Boxing Gloves. The reasoning is really stupid - I'm a testosterone fueled teenager who jokingly challenges my older brother and mother to a fight as I beat my chest like a primitive, and i dance on the spot with fisticuffs like I'm the Fourth Stooge. Now I can punch them without it hurting them, and yet still sock em one in the mouth!

Try to think of your most favorite gifts this year and let your inner stories as such blossom

Whether you are a financially struggling family or a financially lucky family, it doesn't matter the worth of the gifts you got, and don't be afraid to share - this isn't a competition!

Got a new phone and some money from my relatives, though these were actually gifts for my good results in my exams. Might as well consider them Christmas gifts since I got them this month. :3

As for virtual items, got a bunch of Festive weapons from my Secret Santa. Good enough for me. Thanks again, Secret Santa!
