I tried googling and asking on tf2 subreddit, but nothing so far. I downloaded latest version of this, I type login, password, give the email code, but then it asks me for phone number and here's the problem. Anything I type it shows: Error adding phone number. Steam returned "GeneralFailure" I had this phone number with mobile application and it worked fine, I also had it linked with Steam so I tried both with it linked and not. The same error. I tried the following formats: +48123456789 +48123 456 789 +48123-456-789 +48 123456789 +48 123 456 789 +48 123-456-789 (+48 is my country code) Everytime the same error. Anyone else experiences this problem?

Anyone else experiences this problem? Idk my country code is +370 and i have no problems setting authenticator, have you tried to do that on steam app? otherwise just download winauth.exe. But if your phone will not be working on official steam app then it will not work on authenticators either.
cringelord Posted December 15, 2015 Author Posted December 15, 2015 It worked on android app and I can link my phone number to Steam just fine, it's not a problem with my it for sure. What way did you enter your number in desktop thing?
