The whole western world is.  We're on the verge of collapse in more ways than one.  Death of a thousand tiny cuts.  I blame neo progressivism.  It's scary because as part of our energy production, we all have nuclear reactors that have components that absolutely must be looked after even if they aren't being used.  What's going to happen to them if civilization collapses?  Or am I just being too pesimistic and alarmist?
