Need help for a PC build.

Sick of having a shitfest PC, time to get a new one.

Primarily looking to run tf2, crysis, farcry and other somewhat demanding games. Nothing to intense like Fallout 4 or anything newer.

Have a budget of about £200-300, the cheaper the better obviously. I'm a complete spack when it comes to computer stuff so I'd love some help.

Well, for TF2 you'd be fine with a potato....but for anything else that's a bit demanding I really wouldn't recommend going with anything less than this (and you can potentially reuse your case and hard drive (and power suppy if it's decent).

CPU: AMD Athlon X4 860K 3.7GHz Quad-Core Processor  (£54.96 @ Aria PC)
Motherboard: Asus A88XM-E Micro ATX FM2+ Motherboard  (£43.95 @ Amazon UK)
Memory: G.Skill Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1333 Memory  (£25.20 @ Amazon UK)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  (£34.39 @ Aria PC)
Video Card: XFX Radeon R7 260X 2GB Core Edition Video Card  (£95.99 @ Amazon UK)
Case: Fractal Design Core 1000 USB 3.0 MicroATX Mid Tower Case  (£29.64 @ CCL Computers)
Power Supply: EVGA 500W 80+ Certified ATX Power Supply  (£29.99 @ Aria PC)
Total: £314.12
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

Any option for a cheaper case? I can't reuse anything from my build as it's terrible but I was thinking a 500gb hard drive then get an external when necessary (as I'm hoping for just a bit under £300)

Even a shitty case/hdd is fine if you can reuse it since you're tight on money. There are cheaper cases (like 5-10 pounds cheaper), but they're really not worth it.

A 500GB will probably end up costing you about the same as a terabyte which basically means it's not worth it at all.

this.
