Corvanor
Any country (Including US and other UN nations) that helped fight against these dictators during the arab spring helped fuel ISIS and other extremists. No denying that at all. Not to sure about this video, some of the links from the video creator are written journalist and list 0 sources to back up their facts. However, it wouldn't surprise me, the Taliban was created by the US as well.

Budi
The idea behind what this video is saying is pretty much irrelevant. Every major 1st world country played a part in the growth and rise of these extremist factions, and the USA is certainly at the forefront. But really statements like this aren't even important because it's stating the obvious. We can say the same thing about the Roman empire, that they directly led to the rise of the Frankish kingdom, or any other barbaric tribe that settled in in the years after the empire fell. We can say the same thing about the British empire leaving behind Iraq, Egypt, and India, Australia, Canada, and the USA. As leaders are removed, others take their place. So you can't really view this as a "blame game" of who caused ISIS. You assess who is the biggest threat at the time, deal with that, and then if another pops up in it's place, that's life. So this post/thread is basically pointless.
Python.
Classic case of correlation not causation The US was indirectly involved with ISIS. They began themselves off of that thing that happened 2000 years ago

RoNsTiG
I partly agree with this. I fully blame that cunt Tony Blair for starting an illegal war with Bush in Iraq, but on the other hand - you cannot completely blame the Western world. These extremist muslims are mostly to blame in my opinion, not starting the wars in the middle east would have just prolonged the inevitable. Professional Map Painter
Guerilla/terrorist tactics cab be traced back to the SAS and the Peninsular War. Funding for terrosim can be traced back to US involvement in the Soviet-Afghan war, and Saudi Arabia. Neither of these actually created ISIS directly. Also, the main rebel group in Syria used to be the non extremist FSA, but that is no longer the case.
Jesus Floss
While many extremists groups have been created (directly or indirectly) by the US-led West, ISIS was not. ISIS was the Syrian branch of Al Qaeda, and they broke off due to disagreements within the group itself.

Tats
The Caliph's real name, head of ISIS, known as Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi, is Simon Eliott. He was born in Israel, worked for the Israeli intelligence and followed a Mossad special program to infiltrate islamists groups. Many sources confirmed it. See: http://www.veteranstoday.com/2014/08/04/french-report-isil-leader-mossad/ ISIS is a creation of USA with the help of their allies, it is well-known for very long now, except if you read news from Reuters, Associated Press, etc. Who bought petrol from ISIS ? Who pays ISIS mercenaries ? Who sent/sold these brand new Toyota trucks ISIS use ? Why ISIS main weaponry is american ? Why Syrian's roads have been shelled (does ISIS have planes and GPS?) ? etc. Hopefully russians have decided to fight against ISIS, not in words but in facts ! The Arab Syrian Army is now taking control of many strategic places they first lost. The hypocrisy of USA's and their allies foreign policy is now exposed to more and more people. Since 9/11 and before, we know the power no longer belongs to american people, not even to the american president but some shady special advisers who work for financial and industrial lobbies.
