DiamondHavoc.
I should stop making threads. Anyway, this is my finalized PC build. Ignore the crappy placeholder keyboard. PCPartPicker part list: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/73Q4bv Price breakdown by merchant: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/73Q4bv/by_merchant/ CPU: AMD Athlon X4 860K 3.7GHz Quad-Core Processor (£54.96 @ Aria PC) Motherboard: MSI A78M-E35 V2 Micro ATX FM2+ Motherboard (£42.74 @ Ebuyer) Memory: Crucial 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (£30.44 @ Ebuyer) Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (£34.74 @ Aria PC) Video Card: XFX Radeon R7 260X 2GB Core Edition Video Card (£95.99 @ Amazon UK) Case: Fractal Design Core 1000 USB 3.0 MicroATX Mid Tower Case (£29.64 @ CCL Computers) Power Supply: XFX ProSeries 450W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply (£35.46 @ More Computers) Optical Drive: Samsung SH-224DB/BEBE DVD/CD Writer (£9.00 @ CCL Computers) Keyboard: Microsoft ANB-00006 Wired Slim Keyboard (£9.46 @ Amazon UK) Total: £342.43 Now I know this is a vague question but I'm still unsure. What sort of games could this thing run? Thanks for your help guys, because of the forums I know much more about PCs than I did 2 weeks ago. AwesomeMcCoolName
Considering you're not buying anything for over a month you really shouldn't bother trying to figure this stuff out seeing as prices change quite a bit and you'll likely be able to get something faster. http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/1044

I really want to build a PC, but I dont know if it would just be better to build one now or to wait for cyber monday/black friday. Are there any sales on PC part selling websites that are worth waiting for?

Are there any sales on PC part selling websites that are worth waiting for? There are usually some nice deals leading up to and around black friday, although unless you plan on camping the various sites and buying each component as they come on sale you won't be getting those ridiculous black friday deals -- although you can probably save around 20%. So definitely worth waiting for at this point since it's so close.

If you are unsure on specifics about the CPU, GPU, Socket, PCIe lanes, SATA III storage or m.2 that uses the PCIe lanes, DDR3 or DDR4, actual wattage consumption under load and at idle, etc then right now would be a good time to learn about that to make sure you build the system you really want and that should at minimum last some years. It's fine, but you might want to consider going with something more powerful so you can add a more powerful (top tier~) card in the future should you desire: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p1550sxxb9
