Forum accounts MUST have a steam account linked

Due to the way the forum software works, I do not think that mandatory steam integration is possible.

 

I believe people didn't catch cleverpun's comment here. I don't think its possible. The forum is supported by a community forum software : http://www.invisionpower.com/apps/board/

 

Perhaps allow only signups via Steam's OpenID thing. This would at least stop all the spam bots.

True true, but Brad always refused to change major settings in the forum since he doesn't want to mess anything up. If it is possible to change settings like that on this forum software, you can personally ask Brad about this since you already have him added and see if he is willing to do so.
