¬°BurningKirby
Hey guys, I'm just looking for a bit of advice here. I'm strongly considering upgrading my Toshiba Satellite's RAM from 2x2GB to 2x4GB. My system is the C655-S5512 model. While looking around on Newegg, I found that this set had the best balance between ratings and price: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231342 What I'm asking is: Would this work with my laptop? and Is there a better set that I missed? (Cheaper and/or Faster) Thanks for your help with this!
AwesomeMcCoolName
Any mobile DDR3 will be fine and yield the same performance. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820226027 You are still running a Sandy Bridge pentium, so depending on your use case more ram may not help. I noticed the one you linked is listed as "PC3 10666". How is that different from the PC3 10600 that I had linked? I'm probably going to go with the one you linked because of the cheaper price, but I was just curious.
