Angelcake
I got tired of living my life with constant pain of the past and depression,so I talked to angelmander about it and it got me thinking, what if you were in another person's body? You would have all there thoughts but you still know who you really are.You can feel there pain and problems instead of your own. I would love to be somebody else just because of the problems im dealing with,I just think"no way there is anyone else like me this broken, maybe I would have a better life if I was them" Anyway here is a song that relates to this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mbIp3DlFkZQ I don't like who I become ;/

λngelღмander
I think you'd find that everyone else has problems, some of which would end up being worse than yours. You miss your boyfriend, but what happens when your problem is never having had someone to miss and feeling like you gave up your only chance to find one? Be grateful for what you have, I don't think we'll ever see technology that can make that happen.
Lib3l
Be careful what you wish for, like λngelღмander said many other people have problems which may be just as bad or worse than your own. There's nothing wrong with wishing for a better life but don't forget how lucky you are at the moment in comparison to others. Snuggles
You encounter problems through your life, and it will take time before you feel "normal". Being like I am today, I would rather try to help myself win over my problems, instead of running away and sealing myself off (learned from experience). Be grateful for what you have, I don't think we'll ever see technology that can make that happen.

Lmf
living in another person with their thoughts and your own will probably be a damn big problem. mentally-wise i mean. if you were not conscious about yourself though, id consider that the death of yourself. i wouldnt do it regardless though. as angel said, appreciate what you have and be grateful for it. fuk the rest if you catch my drift
AFFIRMATIVE
Here's the reason why you will never be satisfied from a response to your question. The premise of this topic is that you feel like you have an overflow of problems in your life and you don't have the initiative or solutions to solve them, or you're having a though time going through them. At the moment, its your most recent problem, either having a break up, losing an opportunity to be with someone, losing a parent, friend etc. The most recent problem of yours will automatically make you think of other problems of your past because you are just a thoughtful person and you want to know what you did wrong or how can you solve your current problem. The gravity of the problems is that it affects you to a point that completely makes you a broken person, as in it will suppress your life dramatically to a point where you wish you want to live through someone else's life. So is your problem solvable? Its not .. you can't do anything about it. The point i'm trying to make is that i believe that people need to have problems in their life in order to have this first hand gloom feelings that they are experiencing so it would craft a better person out of them in the future. Otherwise living problem-free would just make you less sympathetic towards other people because you don't entirely know the true experience of bumping into a bad situation. You feel like you want to do something or meet people but you can't? Then go and cry. I'm serious , if you ever have the opportunity to cry then just go somewhere private and bawl out as much as you want, because that's really the best start to go through depression. Speaking with someone and being open is also a very good way to go through it, because hey.. the wheel that squeaks gets the oil. Suppressing your emotions is really one of the main problems to have when you go through a shitty moment of your life. Its the main reason that it lowered your initiative to zero and made you not do anything anymore. Took me some time to word it accurately and think it through, but if it helped even just a little bit, then its time that i gladly spent .. and i mean it. Speaking of... time will always be the one that ultimately helps your problem because just as the expression goes, "time heals all wounds". Python.
Reminds me of the Bioshock Infinite effect in all honesty Two memories in the same place. Kinda freaky. Love comes and goes, true love is forever. And a quote for good measure, "It's better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all"

Amen
Just think of it this way: no matter what your situation, someone in the world has it way worse than you, and are appreciative of what they have. Besides, every single person has problems. Answer this question, if you had the opportunity to take over someone else's life, would you do it? The catch is that you can't choose who's life you take over (it's random), it could be someone in a 3rd world country facing war, someone who is terminally ill, or someone who is a happiest millionaire in the world, etc. Would you do it? Donnie Azoff
I don't know; I've recently been thinking about how even though my problems may seemingly be worse than many other people's, that I don't really want to write their life off as easier. Who knows, their seemingly small problems could affect them in huge ways, ways just as big as the ways my problems affect me. Would you still feel their issues in the same capacity as they feel them, or would you be looking at it through the lense of your own life experience? For example, if I suddenly became a shallow girl who only cares about prom, (Not all girls, just a possible example, blah blah blah) would I feel the anguish she might feel if she didn't get to go to the big dance? Or would I just not care, even with her thoughts, because as an introverted guy who doesn't put stock in those sort of social events I wouldn't normally gaf? Lord Shako
I would think it would create some kind of mental problem. Memories from two lives with different oppinions and likes. I doubt it would be easy to handle all that and still be sane.

Compare it to your life. Do you think you still have the crappy life? If you do, it's time to think again. We shouldn't even complain about this at all.
