NecroTed
So there's this sale: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/26113044 Genuine Golden Severing Crest This was traded for the DP Valhalla Helm. My questions are: 1. Can you use Dota 2 sales for TF2 sales if necessary? 2. If so, how much would the final outcome value be? Thanks peeps
Weedoof
IIRC, dota & csgo sales can be used as proof so long as a mini is provided to prove its value. I think the community market will suffice for it, but I'm not certain.
Randy The Shpee Of Nigeria
You can like Weedoof said, if you get a mini, probably from the steam market. If its the only sale i myself would not use it, and maybe just wait for another sale.
Jacobmeister
If the final value is in line with other sales for the hat, go for it. If something sold for 60 in CSGO items, but there are sales at 35-40 for it, I'd definitely ignore it. Cross-game trades are usable, just don't depend on them as much as your run-of-the-mill TF2 item sales.
Kevin the Chicken God
I don't think they're treated the same as CSGO items, I know very little about dota trading but the market doesn't seem too stable and SCM prices don't seem like they're always accurate. I also think minis are harder to find since there is never a lot of trading going on with dota items, but I may be wrong
